Legoland on Tesco vouchers- can I use my mum's points?

Sorry if this is on the wrong forum, first time poster. We have scraped together as many deals as possible to afford to take our family of 5 to legoland tomorrow. I used NOW TV 50% off vouchers, and my stepmum kindly bought two tickets as a surprise (two for £26 worth of vouchers). I was so relieved as we were struggling to afford the crazy prices (£50 for a just 3 year old!). HOWEVER, I just printed the Tesco vouchers off and read on the small print that I have to take ID to prove I'm the same person as on the printout. Anyone have experience of this? Are we going to turned away without ID that matches the name on the ticket? Do they check? I'm panicking that we'll get there and the children will be massively disappointed after a 2 hour drive and loads of excitement. Any advice appreciated.

  • You should be okay - I have never been asked to produce id when using tesco vouchers. Howevr, you are awre that you camt use the two offers in conjunction. To get round this you will need to enter with one other person using the tesco vouchers and tn a secon adult will need to enter seperately using the now tv voucher. They wont let you do one transaction with two different offers.
  • Thanks for replying. I really hope that's the case when we get there- I'm not going to relax until we're through the gates! Dreading there being a problem.

Yes I realised about the two offers thing when I read through the small print earlier; I'm going to give DH the clubcard tickets and use the NowTV ones myself, as he's much better at arguing his way out of a tight spot than me! Fingers crossed!
  • Just to give a quick update: all was fine. Phew! If you already have tickets printed out you go straight past the ticket booths to a bit where an employee takes your printouts and scans them. He literally just scanned the barcode and as it came up valid he smiled us on through. No scrutiny or anything, I doubt his machine even came up with names, just whether the ticket was valid or not. Panic over! I think that especially when they're super busy, it's a case of crowd control more than anything.
