Freehold with Management Company (RMG) beginning to charge for unpaid charge

Hi all,
Posting my second topic on the same subject as before - estate management companies of which mine is controlled by RMG and the Land Trust.
RMG (well-known for being rip-off merchants and virtual thieves) I've paid pretty much as an unavoidable pain in the a***. Recently I received yet another pay for a deficit in the estate's fund. What griped me is that they sent me another bill suggesting that due to costs with litter collection and gate maintenance the extra costs need to be paid for.
What particular annoys me is that I've had a broken gate since the day I've moved in and despite reporting it, nobody has ever progressed it despite me chasing. I know well there's no evidence of anyone collecting said litter either as I work from home and view of a large bit of the estate from where I'm sat, but the first issue is what is particularly getting me.
As such I demanded to speak to the property manager in charge as I do not feel it is fair, they told me that he would get in touch with me, but as yet, he has not despite many attempts, and they have progressed me to final demand for payment and charged an extra £30 on the bill. I do have e-mails and call-logs as evidence of this.
What can I do in this situation? Is this something I would need to take to the small claims court or am I basically unable to escape any bill they chuck at me i.e. they can say we fancy having £500 off you and I have to pay it.
Any help would be appreciated - happy to provide more information also - cheers.

What would be the legal basis of your claim in the small claims court? Breach of contract maybe?
If it's breach of contract, you need to read the contract (deed of transfer?) that you signed, and decide which term you believe has been breached. Then tell RMG which term they have breached, and ask for their comments.
(E.g. if the contract says they will do litter picking, and they are not doing it, they are in breach of contract.)
Or if they are charging you for something that you believe you have not contractually agreed to, again ask RMG which term in the contract they are relying on to make the charge. If you haven't contractually agreed to it, you don't have to pay it.As such I demanded to speak to the property manager in charge as I do not feel it is fair,...
FWIW, that's not going to be a good legal argument. If you believe that the terms of the contract aren't fair, you shouldn't have signed it.0
