Postgraduate finance HELP!??

Hi, I've recently had my place on a masters course confirmed to start this September. I'm trying to work out how my finances are going to work but it is so confusing. I am a single mum with 3 kids (all in school). I know there is the £10,000 loan but I read somewhere this would mean I would no longer be eligible for a dependents grant....I am currently on Universal Credit and am not sure if they will just keep paying me but take into account the £10k loan? I'm obviously trying to maximise the amount of help/money I can get. I have no savings and if I take the £10k loan after paying the course fees I would be left with £3200 to live on for me and my 3 children for the year! Will UC top that up? Should I explore other avenues? Very confused so hope someone can help clarify!
