It may be that you were at the limit of your overdraft and the monthly fee on the account tipped your over the agreed limit.
You did not pay in sufficient funds to keep the account functioning correctly by paying the agreed monthly fee.
If you do not pay an agreed monthly fee, you are 'in arrears'. It is entirely appropriate for them to mark it as such. Sorry, I know it isn't what you want to hear, but it is likely to be accurate reporting on their part.Some days, it's just not worth chewing through the leather straps....
