Incorrect VRM - Notice to Keeper Received

unless they see sense and cancel, after checking that the ticket was indeed paid for and they dont try to enforce their "rules" on correct VRM entry
either way, as KEEPER you are trying to stay out of it AND come to a successful conclusion where the costs are very low at this moment in time for both parties
i:- either a mistake was made or the ticket machine was faulty, in any case a ticket was purchased and you have had your money , so no loss was actually incurred
so as I am the keeper and not the driver, please cancel and we can both walk away with our heads held high , and no more will be said about it
(the common sense approach)
if you are obstinate about it , provide a popla code and we will see who blinks first, plus if that fails I am prepared to argue it out in court, letting a judge decide , where consumer rights may well trump your "rules" AND no loss was incurred either
this means you will pay more money out and I should still win , so cut your losses and run whilst you still can
(this is the approach you are taking, with our help)0 -
Brilliant - thanks, this is a good overview of the process. I did read the Newbie FAQ but didn't quite come to this conclusion.
A super summary covers the overarching thread we need to follow with the PPC.
Thanks for all the help you give!0
