Got an Offer that BT won't Honor

Hi there,
I got a letter from BT which offered me 38MB fibre/ unlimited weekend calls, online safety tools and 15GB usage (up gradable to unlimited usage for an extra £5 a month) for 12 months.
All this for only £59.99 installation fee. The letter explicitly states that as an existing landline customer I would have "no extra monthly cost".
Seems like a good deal, but when I ring up BT to order it, they don't have this offer, so they suggested I go to their website to find it, I did this but couldn't find it on their either, so I ended up in an online chat who recommended I ring up :-(
Sales guys were useless and clearly couldn't care less.
If there anything I can do in this situation? Surely BT are legally obliged to honor an offer like this?

I once had a special offer to join BT at a special price and there was an Amazon voucher on offer as well. After I joined I wrote to claim the voucher but they said 'what voucher'. I sent them the original paperwork with the offer but they would not reply to my letters. Lost cause.
I would'nt trust BT as far as I can throw.0 -

That is a poor deal from BT - especially for £60 upfront and a measly 15GB usage cap!
Plusnet offer 38Mb Unlimited Fibre for £24.99pm and one-off £25 activation fee
TalkTalk offer 38Mb Unlimited Fibre for £25pm with no upfront fees
You can also get cashback using Top Cashback or Quidco as well for these deals.0 -

The OP says the deal offered was 'no extra monthly fee', so without knowing what he currently pays , ( he doesn't say in the post) how can you tell if it's a good deal or not ?, if the only thing to pay was the £60 for 12 months fibre broadband, that's £5 a month0 -

Considering BT aren't exactly known for their rock bottom monthly prices, I'm hazarding a guess the OP already pays £20-25pm+ already including line rental. Meaning the £60 upfront fee makes it a worthless deal, as over a year would be an extra £5pm anyway.
Let alone the very low usage cap, as unless the OP doesn't use the internet for anything other than browsing MSE's forum, they would whizz through the 15GB data cap as well.
Meaning the Plusnet & Talktalk deals are much better alternative deals and come with unlimited usage.0
