I suppose so, but I don't know how I'd find an electrician willing to install it, and would have to remove it if I sold the place, so not really good enough.
You wouldn't find a good electrician willing to install it. If you did, they wouldn't be a good electrician. You'd have to pay someone dodgy to do it or learn to DIY. Yes, you'd have to make good if you sold it and accept any responsibility for any injury suffered by visitors or family. As for that not being good enough, I'm glad. It's a daft idea. If you want to take the risk and the responsibility, it will cost you a bit of time, money and effort, twice over. All so you can do you hair?

    Here's a story from today's DM:

    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-4774790/Boyfriend-tried-electrocute-mother-30-bath.html
A mother whose abusive boyfriend tried to electrocute her in the bath has issued a warning to other women as he approaches his release from jail.

Sophie Woolley, from Leeds, was abused by Gary Morris who tried to bundle her into bath containing a plugged-in lamp and radio.

Correct - his assertion was nonsense. It is an electrically separated supply (i.e. separated from Earth). That said, there is no neutral on the secondary as there is no Earth reference. Both conductors are phase (line) conductors.

Only just saw this. You are of course correct. I typed "Live and Neutral" thought "wrong", but then left it to keep it simple.
    (Well I would say that now wouldn't I? :))

I hope you're not referring to me, else go back and read what I said. The secondary winding is both insulated and isolated from the primary.
For every complex problem there is an answer that is clear, simple and wrong.
