    Thanks.
Blimey a special big thanks to all the people doing the competitions ending on posts. That must take them ages i hadn't realised they had to look through all the posts to find them

I think it is very random whether you win or not. I only joined the site in November and haven't had a win since then - I have however been doing odd comps for about the last 5 years but only about 3 a week during that time. I did win a luxury holiday to Rome 3 years ago with Take a Break - £2000 holiday plus £500 cash. £200 from That's Life in 2006 and some odd £20-£25 amounts from time to time. Plus a tattoo set!! which I sold on ebay for £50. So you can win things without entering hundreds of comps - it is just luck.

    Good luck (and it's fun) :j :j

  • 1. Open Notepad / Textedit
    2. In your internet browser open the Competitions Time page and click on the header 'THREAD' at the top of the list. This will list in date order.
    3. Resize both apps so you can see them both at the same time
    4. Type in the comp title into Notepad
    5. Click in your internet browser and DRAG (or copy/paste) link into Notepad
    6. Repeat and go cross-eyed!
    almost forgot
    7. When completed copy your list into a new post in the comps (you may need to split it up if it's huge!!)

Don't forget to SAVE intermittently or you just might lose all your hard work!! ;)

Keep in mind that everyone seems to do them in slightly different fashion (e0802, E: 08/02, e- 08/02 etc etc) so you'll have to look at most pages unfortunately.

  • I just opened up two browsers and started at last page and worked way forward with new thread open paste and edit etc
Just back into comping past few months to help me get over rubbish in life.... won Hotpoint fridge freezer, soda stream

Hi, I don't think there is any ratio or formula , its all just the luck of the draw. Just enjoy the entering and and if you don't expect anything then you are never disappointed and then every win however, small is a great surpise and bonus. That is how I see it. Best of luck to you.

hi i had only ever entered 5-6 online competitions ever.
untill last week, when i won a competition to go and watch the england team train, then meet and have a chat with them afterwards. a truely memorable experience, probably never to be repeated (you never know), this has made me find this website (you guys are just brilliant). i am now totally addicted to entering on-line competitions. good luck to all of you.
  • I have won one thing (small) in about 175 comps. If you aren't in it, you can't win it.
Even though my win was a small one, I was really excited. It makes it worthwhile, I guess, to know that there is that chance.......
I started by entering everything & anything. Now I try and only enter stuff that I (or someone I know) is interested in!
I love it & I'm totally addicted. Its free, so I could be addicted to far worse.........
