Not sure why the OP is called a "jealous Loquax user" for suggesting a spoiler button to conceal answers as a suggestion to improve this forum? Makes no sense that as they're not asking to remove answers or anything else?
Answers... we don't give them for numerous reasons - imo most comps with one multi choice question are easy anyway, but promoters aren't that keen on us doing it (so we don't, and in the past have had one or two issues with promoters getting upset and giving us too much hassle - and in fact a few compers too who didn't want answers as it changed every competition into a free draw).
As a siteowner - if I set up a comp that was designed to get the entrant to visit part of my site to find an answer, and people didn't do that (or didn't visit a sponsor) then I'd not be happy - so that's another reason for no answers.
That said, users are welcome to ask for help, discuss answers etc (as happens with the harder comps) on our forums... it might not be as direct, but it's the right thing for us to do - which is good, because if we were the same as here, then someone posting to help you couldn't be called jealous for some odd reason :-)
Jason“Official Company Representative
I am an official company representative of Loquax. MSE has given permission for me to post in response to queries about the company, so that I can help solve issues. You can see my name on the companies with permission to post list. I am not allowed to tout for business at all. Hi all... I know that there has been a few discussions on how to find comps about to end....
Just a thought, but would it maybe work to have a thread for each day of the year?
Anyone who has a comp that ends that day could then reply in the thread and it means all the comps that end the same day are kept together and could be found easily by typing something like 12th january 2008 or something like that depending upon the title??Dream of being mortgage free....

With all respect OP - now you have found Loquax can I suggest that you use that facility if you wish to use a site with no answers given. You will find more-and-less the same sites as are on there as here and you can search by end date:rolleyes: .
But if you enjoy this site more then welcome aboard and put up with answers being given
Thank you for the post
Ditto from me.
Goodness knows how long it takes to keep up with all the comps on here with all the answers - I dread to think how long it would add to have to click another button or work out all the answers. Still, each to their own. From MSE Martin - Some General Tips On Holiday Home Organisations and Sales Meetings

I quite like the answers being provided, and I do wonder how well a 'mouse over' option would work across all the different browsers people are using. Some MSE'rs even use a speaking browser because they're sight impaired, so while I'm not against it, it would need to work on everyone's machine! While I'm at it, is there any way to hide threads? As Dalkirst says, it's hard keeping up and if it were possible to hide a thread once I'd entered the competition, it'd be easier for me to see what's new. I use the 'thanks' so I can keep track, but is there anything else you can do?2015 comp wins - £370.25

imo, i think both sites compliment each other, and thats what makes it fun, i like the sharing philosophy of the answers here, were when i want to behave and get my head down for a few hours comping i goto longlist at loquax, you get stuff at tescos you dont get in asda its pretty much like that, i like to test myself as my uni days are well and truly over now, so i enjoy the mse quizfest daily, and radio times comp, if you glance at the clicky and go from there u wont see the answer! i hope u continue to use this site compblazer, it is a lovely site with many many friendly and helpful people, x toni#JusticeForGrenfell0
