I like having the answers provided for me I think hehe incase my answer was wrong.

I may be confusing you all..... What I mean is that the answer (if provided) is posted but you have to do an action to see it. ie mouse over the answer or click on a 'reveal answer' button, rather than it being displayed.

This way it caters for all of us, those that want to enter as many comps as pos and those that want to do some brain exercising.

I think most people like to have the answers immediately visible as they can enter more comps in less time.

Quite often I don't look at the answer on the thread until I've looked at the actual competition and I check what I think the answer is against the answer on the thread, but I still would rather have the answers visible on all posts for the times that I just don't have time to check, and want to enter some comps quickly :)

Also I would think that the Board Guides have enough to do merging all those dup comps etc. without having to hide answers !!

With all respect OP - now you have found Loquax can I suggest that you use that facility if you wish to use a site with no answers given. You will find more-and-less the same sites as are on there as here and you can search by end date:rolleyes: .

But if you enjoy this site more then welcome aboard and put up with answers being given :p

Thank you for the post ;)

I think things are fine as it is.

according to your profile you are a new member as of yesterday. maybe you could hang about for a bit and see how it goes with the answers displayed, this forum has worked well with the answers and I wouldnt have thought it will be likely to change.

There are plenty of other websites that dont show you the answer - maybe they would be better suited to your needs/wants

I am not complaining, I am happy here and thought I would post my initial thoughts. I am new to the comp entering frenzy and agree that to enter as many comps as possible is the best way of improving your chances (hey I have taken the £2008 for 2008 challenge so I am not a quiz buff etc lol), but from time to time I do enjoy working them out for myself. So perhaps all is as it should be as not all have the answers provided.

I dont want to rock the boat hehe.

Hello complazer and welcome to the forum, I like things the way they are, isnt that the point of this forum, comps with the answers.

compblazer if you want comps without the answers you can visit Loquax, as I think someone has said, dont think you will have as much fun as we do on here ;)
What we see depends mainly on what we look for

Surely if you want to excersise the brain there are other better options than finding answers to comp questions?

To be honest with you it's hard trying to keep up with the hundreds of comps on here and i have to come on every 2 or 3 hours so it doesn't enter more than 4 pages. It's not going to help me if i then have to click another button on every comp page to reveal the answer:)
