If you think its a god idea, let me know/post some T&Cs on this thread from online versionsof magazines, tv channels, etc., as you come across them.
A god idea, no. A good idea, possibly, lol :rotfl:
Honestly, as a newbie lurker, if you can't be bothered to read a set of rules, surely it turns the competitions into pretty much click throughs... we get enough help with kind people posting answers to qualifying questions.0 -
The general rule I've been working to, is to post any key T&Cs with the comp clicky. So, whether you need to be registered, opt in/out of emails, key dates prize has to be taken on, age restriction, exclusions etc etc. If someone puts a link up without T&Cs and someone else sees an important T&C, then generally they add those key T&Cs to the thread.

To be honest with you there are so many sites with comps now having the terms on this one thread would be pointless. Also IMO we don't need yet another sticky thread as soon there will be page one of sticky's and we will have to go to the 2nd page to start the comps.Darren0

Not lost the will but it was nice not having to come on every 2 or 3 hours over Xmas/New Year so a little bit of a break was good:)Darren0

Have you tried using Roboform? I found it a drag sometimes, but this was recommended to me. It helps fill in the forms and speeds up logins to certain websites. I know this is old hat to most, but newbies like I was not long ago(!) really benefit from it. It just speeds up the process somewhat. Sometimes it can be irritating on certain websites, but overall it is quicker with practice.

Enter what you want, when you want, there is no need to be a slave to it, there is no set rules, you don't have to spend all day entering comps if you want to, its all down to personal choice
Please read the stickies at the top of the page for more info and any questions should really be put in the discussion thread at the top of the page, people will be along to answer your questions
I'll move it up there in a bit
Thanks

Please can we put this kind of thing in the discussions board, don't mean to be a bore but its what the stickies are for, people will still see it in there
IMO not the best of ideas as T&C's are readily available to read on the web pages, or they will be posted on the threads

As you can see now that I have merged the threads about comps help and a comp suggestion in here its all gone fragmented and looks odd as it puts it in here in chronological order and now makes no sense!
So please please please! can you put the threads in the right place in the first place
many thanks
