    Hey Pips & company!

    Just catching up...

Beets:eek: - Am I still allowed in the virtual kitchen even if they don't strike my fancy?

    Spending:o - YN@B says that OH averages 31.36 a month & I manage 13.96 - clearly I'm low maintenance!:D

On the other hand we have a separate category for our vice of eating out & take-away (this includes socializing & entertaining family when over the pond or when we have guests visiting) & also a separate budget for me to eat lunch in the big smoke - 'doing' lunch is a work thing I'd love to get out of but can't - am much happier having a tuna sandwich and some fruit in the park!

Camembert - take a sniff pips - if it smells off or sour - toss it!!! - if it smells right then cut it open & melt it down for a nice spreadable gooey treat on crackers - They freeze & defrost well when fresh but in this case I'd make short work of it & eat it ASAP!

Pay & budgeting - well done on the progress Pips - beat those debts senseless - you'll feel so much better for it;)

I would go for the one card.
    I find it easier.

Looks like disaster averted. Thanks for the advice re budget and cheese I'll check that out. We probably need to sensibly set an eating out budget as we do eat out a lot and its not likely to stop - but we do need to rationalise what we spend. And, yes aside the beets you'd be welcome anytime all the more for me.

    :)

Thanks beanie and :j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j the bank found them - in a holding account and have landed today seeming one of the digits were transposed and it went into the secret bank vault.

Hope you're well today - what a miserable start but glorious now!

Enjoy the bridge over the weekend :A

Evening chaps a quick one - DD here - home with a veg box and a tub of my whole body weight in tomatoes - split, ripe, not ripe or otherwise.

    Also some courgettes.

Busy work day - working over the weekend and helping DD to move house.

Might do dumplings for tea - not sure yet might venture out - keys tomorrow at 11am for the new pad and car is choca block with flat stuff as free holding.

Picked dd up in town and raided Mr M&S reduced - aside some reduced bean sprouts not much action - all good though.

HM lunches and brekkies - 70p spend with pennies and coins from the purse so didn't feel like real money.

Have a good one might touch base later.

    XOXOXO

    1. My apple picking husband has picked precisely ZERO apples thus far. Give him enough technical jobs - pc, email, tv, laptops, phone - to do and he forgets about 'helping' outside.

Mind you, after Monday's digging up and replanting, my hands were extremely achey and have spent all week reminding me that I need to be more careful and steady inthe garden (pesky arthritis trying to get a grip) and unless I pace myself, dh may have to take over - yikes! Now,that's motivation!
