Cruise Price Comparison Sites?

Hi,

Looking at booking our second cruise (our first was back in 2009!!!), but struggling to find any sites that will compare the pricing from different companies/agents (was hoping to find something similar to Trivago for hotels).

When I use a search engine for booking cruises, I get any number of companies appearing, but then most only seem to have an affiliation to one or two cruise lines.

Even worse, the odd site I have found that will compare a couple of sites, they only show one or two cruises whereas I am searching over July, August and September 2018 and I know that the cruise we are after (Canaries & Madeira from Southampton) have several cruise lines providing departures at least on a fortnightly basis.

Would be grateful if anyone who has found such a site would be happy to share it.

Iglu cruise has a decent search engine so you can research which companies and ships are doing the trip, but I am not aware of a consolidator.

Start with the company's own websites for a price and don't forget High Street agents, they are sometimes offered fares not available on websites.

Thanks for getting back to me quickly. I had checked Iglu cruises, but they only came back with two cruises over the entire three months I was looking at, despite the cruise lines having departures throughout the period.

I suspect that having been spoiled with airline and hotel comparison sites making life a lot easier, it will be back to good old-fashioned research and an Excel sheet to draw up my own comparisons!!!!

Once I have a better idea of on-line pricing, and any additional offers that come with it (free parking, drinks packages etc), I'll visit a couple of agents to see what they can offer.

Search again, but set the flexibility on dates to +- a month.

Both give a small discount- the first as money off current booking and the second as discount off future booking- their 'Cruise Miles' scheme.

I would suggest you use a cruise expert travel agent- they can also recommend cabins, ships etc (and they will be cheaper than going direct!)
