MoneyWiz Best Practice?

Calling all MoneyWiz (or similar) users. How does everyone configure the app for proper budgeting? I have both multiple accounts and budgets set-up in the app but can't quite get to grips with how to manage the budgeting process. I've set-up bank accounts to support 'envelope' style budgeting keeping bills, living, variable and saving funds in separate accounts. However as I am sure with most people we use a variety of methods (cash, debit, credit and PayPal ) so it isn't so simple to allocate a category of spending to a specific account. Enter budgets which can be configured to span multiple accounts. However would people recommend budgeting for everything? Does it get too confusing to have to move money between accounts AND budgets? Simpler the better I guess.
