Help to lift a carpet please.

    Also you wouldn't be liable to pay to replace the old carpet for a brand new one as the landlord isn't entitled to a brand new one.

    Thanks everyone we finally managed to lift a corner by the wood stove after a bit of a fight,
    No issues with replacing the carpet the owner will be most annoyed with me for the expense but It was my own carelessness that burnt the carpet,it's the same carpet throughout so wouldn't look right not to replace with the same.
