Purchased a Garmin watch in June 2014 (in preparation for a marathon) from Amazon and although a light user of the device since after the marathon, the watch stopped working a couple of months ago.
I was informed by Garmin representative that it is indeed faulty and needs to be returned for a replacement but I would need to pay £85.
Is this reasonable? Should I expect a refund or..? For a nearly £200 device, I would expect it to last at least 2 years

Try amazon and see what they say - your contract is with them.
Although another way to look at it is 3 years use for £85. So their offer doesn't seem that bad tbh.You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride0
