babes, i feel there is only so much you can do to cut down. Sadly (and i am not saying this is the case with you) but if you have had cash freely avalible to you and you have only just had your lbm going from £100 per week to £20 is a huge jump. These things take time.
As for snacks/mags/papers ~ mags i allow myself one a month (subscribe its cheaper) however if i had to go instore to buy one mag i would come out with 5. Allow yourself some of these things but all in moderation. As for snacks/food in work i find it easier to chuck thing in your bag. Seriously in the morning i walk into the kitchen and throw 'something' in my bag, ie a bag of crisps (brought cheaper in multibags) apples, biscuts (yes i kid you not) then eat that before you go to the machines you will save money. Another easy general one, say you want a new pair of shoes, write down the price of said shoes and shop it came from and stick it on a noticeboard (or something simalier) at the end of the week go back to the board (you should be adding things each time you want to buy something. I would say you could scrap 1/2 whats on that board :rotfl:
anyways i am rambaling0 -
What you're saying makes sense pap, i know it isn't going to be easy reducing my outgoings, but i'm not really going to exactly miss those things, they're not important. My first step will be to stop smoking, which as from today, i haven't had one as yet
.
Small steps at a time eh
