I'm the only one with poor sales, tailed off last week, hoped it was the usual waiting for payday thing, but nada, zilch...

I predicted being an eBay seller would be the next best thing to selling the Big Issue, many years ago.Warning: any unnecessary disclaimers appearing under my posts do not bear any connection with reality, either intended, accidental or otherwise. Your statutory rights are not affected.0

I've got a website, people selling stuff at a loss on ebay has hammered a lot of my sales."Love you Dave Brooker! x"

Ebay sellers are really struggling, so you're not alone. This makes for very sombre reading:

There are always depressing stories about sales, more-so on the Powerseller board. I'm having probably one of our best periods. Views are stagnant but sales are up.
Not all eBay sellers are struggling.0 -

Makes you wonder where all the buyers have gone?
I was in Costco last night and people were buying stuff like they were expecting a tornado, but my sales have tailed right off over the last couple of years, this year especially.
I'll have to pimp myself to rich old widows."Love you Dave Brooker! x"

I'm not far behind. Not my busiest time of the year anyway (I sell a fair bit to schools) but seems to be down a fair bit anyway..0

I've posted before about it, but my sales are completely erratic, I sell 10 times more things one day than I do the next on a completely random basis.
I was doing well on Shpock but that seems to have completely dried up now with my last 3 sales all failing to collect, facebook has been dead for the best part of a year, I've stopped listing on etsy as the fees were getting high and I wasn't getting any sales at all. I do also have a small managed retail space, that chugs along OK but really is nothing to shout about sales wise .
One of the other forums I chat on suggest that it is because people no longer want cluttered homes , so anything that is not completely useful or required in that instant is thrown away, and people don't buy 'stuff' to replace it.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
