Northern parking services ticket

Hi There,
I parked in a car park which I did not know was operated by northern parking services. I have since went back and noticed their signage. Perhaps I was just in too much of a rush to make my meeting.
As these are a private company do I really have to pay the fine? If not, do I just ignore them?
I had something similar when being at a service station for over 2 hours. I ignored the letters and they went away.
Thanks in advance.

look them up on the BPA AOS website , or the IPC AOS website
if you get a pcn , read the NEWBIES sticky thread , do NOT ignore
there is no fine , no private parking company can "fine" you
but they might issue an invoice0 -
Did their PCN say PENALTY by any chance???If you were not the driver write to the parking firm and tell them who was so they CANNOT hold you liable. The person who was driving the car is responsible so let them deal with it. Not you! Don’t let people with an agenda tell you otherwise.0

Please read the Sticky thread for NEBIES as advised. This will tell you what to do if they send you a PCN/NTK.
They are BPA members so if you get an invoice from them (it is not a fine) you should send the BPA template in blue you will find in the aforementioned NEWBIES.
Ignoring has not been advised since the law changed in 2012.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister.

Edit your post, remove any hint as to the drivers identity. Call the driver of the vehicle "the driver". You are no doubt the Keepr of the vehcile - the person in day to day charge.0
