Before the 2008 crash and Zurich's withdrawal from UK banking they offered an excellent banking service. The stand out feature for me was separate accounts offerred sweep transfers
If I went £500 overdrawn on my No 1 account but had £500 in my No 2 account it would automatically sweep across avoiding unnecessary overdraft charges and saving me the trouble of moving the money across manually - all pre-mandated of course.
Does anyone know if any UK clearing bank offers this sensible facility?

The B current account from CYBG offers such a sweep between it's current account and linked savings account. i.e. when the balance drops to a preset level money is automatically transferred from the savings account bringing the current account back to that preset level.
I have my current account minimum balance set at £50 and that triggers an automatic transfer bringing that current account balance to £100.
Don't know of any sweep between completely separate accounts anywhere.0
