Pretty unproductive day really - haven't got much done except my client work and shopping. And completely knackered now after 2 hour round trip to client! Still family don't arrive until tomorrow afternoon so there is time to catch up in the morning. Maybe I should have an evening off.

Sounds like you've been pretty busy to me, a night off can't hurt :)

Thanks. I took the evening off and feel better for it. Figured it is family. As long as the beds are made in time for them to get in them all will be well!

So mostly getting stuff sorted today. Have already updated my YNAB - am loving this app. Feel completely on top of my finances for the first time in years. I know exactly how much money I have and how much I still need to make this month to meet all my budgeting goals. And it is doable. :j

Will be off for a few days now as my parents are here. Have budgeted a bit for outings and have food in so should all be fine money-wise. Have just been through all my goals on YNAB and the amounts still needed and calculated funds expected this month - and it is all covered! So barring non-payments I should be able to start next month with money set aside for expected spending, some pots beginning for longer term spending and with £600 off the credit card. Yay! Have had extra income this month so don't expect it to always be like that but it is a good start.
  • Have a lovely time with your parents x
