Mizmir's 10 month challenge!

So new one yesterday - lose one today. Has been a good recurrent customer over 8 months so can't complain - but it just shows I need to press on and do some proper marketing. This particular part of the business has been running 8 months and the vast majority of clients are still there (it is a monthly subscription) but I suspect that the longer we go on the higher the churn rate might be. Has gone down 12% in the last 6 months so obviously need to get more people in to compensate.
Will concentrate on that next week.
More positively today was my 3rd NSD in a row and lovely friends brought cake so I didn't even have to go without!0 -
Subscribed and looking forward to seeing how it goes0

Hi mizmir! Subscribing
Churn rate is normal, and wow, I remember you starting that business up - it's done really, really, well, congratulations! I've no doubt you'll get where you're going.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
KC! So good to see you here! How are you?
Yes am pleased with how it is going. The recurrent part started in December and has from launch generated a decent full time income on the basis on probably 1-2 days actual work a week - and really enjoyable work at that. I now need to ramp it up and spend more time on the marketing side of it just to make sure that income doesn't drop off too much. Plus develop the face-to-face side which I haven't done a lot of this year.
Today I must get those videos edited - so I am going off line now until that is done!0 -
Good to know
I'm good thanks - am spending very little in retirement, mostly because I can't go out and about very much cos of the chronic fatiguebut once the house and garden are sorted, maintenance will take less energy and I'll have more for the fun stuff, and in any case I'll feel better when the house is more liveable
As my thread title more or less says, onwards and upwards :j
Good luck with the video editingSave2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Video editing complete. Just rendering the last of the four and uploading for my members and I am done for the day. Going to take the dogs out, then cook up a nice veggie curry and put my feet up with Poldark!
Another NSD today making 4 in a row. Still have a pretty full fridge and freezer so am hoping I can keep going a few more days. Parents coming during the week so bound to be spending then.
And someone that I gave a free subscription to has come back and said she wants to keep it going just a couple of days in - so that will be one more subscriber in September. To quote KC - onwards and upwards.0 -
Ok - a new week. Family coming mid week so lots to do both to get ready for them and make sure that I get all my work stuff done so I can relax a bit with them (will need to do some work too but they are fine with that. Monday is usually a good pay day as I get weekend payments from the week before as well so that is always a nice way to start the week.
Things on my list today:- [STRIKE]Update YNAB with my incomings[/STRIKE]

Good plan. I always take it "in case of emergency" but the "emergency" is usually needing chocolate on the way home! :EasterBun So maybe I will be daring and take a risk! Will have my phone in case of real emergency!
I used to be like but now I regularly leave the house with no purse. it means I can't give in of my kids ask for stuff aswell. really what emergency are you going to have that can be fixed with a few £ in your purse? thats how I look at it anyway.DEC GC £463.67/£450
