validating windows

hi everyone,

I just registered with Quido and it suggests i use a different browser for purchases so i can clear my cookies without affecting everyday use on my other browser. I use Firefox, so went to install Internet Explorer 7. Having problems as it can not validate my version of windows as being genuine. I have no idea. I assume it is, but it wasn't me who loaded that onto my computer. I was wondering if anyone has any ideas.

if it's not genuine you will need to buy one , have you looked for a coa sticker on your pc they look like this http://www.microsoft.com/resources/howtotell/content.aspx?pg=coa&displaylang=en

Use IE6 or Opera.

I thought that microsoft had dropped the validation requirement for IE7 from yesterday?
