Atom Bank, Family BS - what are your experiences?

Thinking of transferring funds from NS&I Income Bonds to Paragon Bank, Atom Bank and the Family Building Society fixed rate bonds to bring in a bit more monthly income. I have dealt with Paragon before and have no qualms about doing so again. Does anyone have experience of Atom Bank or the Family BS, whether good or bad? Thanks in anticipation.

    Atom Bank is okay - although I've only had a savings account with them for a month. That voice recognition and photo login stuff is weird, though. They must have some sort of geek in charge of security.
    I consider myself to be a male feminist. Is that allowed?

    Maybe. It's not unheard of for the front door to be locked, bolted and barred, but the back door left wide open.
    Not that I have any reason to think this applies to Atom, just a general point.

    Atom has someone from First Direct at the helm and Will I Am is also involved. I have a 1 year fixed deal with them. They have full FSCS protection on up to 85K.

    We've been happy with National Counties BS, which is the old name for Family BS I believe.
