Hi,
With our HP Wireless printer having failed, I've dragged the old faithful Epson SX115 out of the loft after several years, and it still works!!
Obviously, we can only print from a USB connected laptop, but I was wondering if anyone has managed to find a way to connect wirelessly using one of the Bluetooth adaptors available?
Not sure if the old-style square type USB connector would work as it would need a USB-A male to USB-B female adaptor to then plug in the Bluetooth adaptor.
Appreciate that there are downloads available that let you print from iPads, phones etc via a laptop, but was hoping to be able to avoid having to have the laptop set up, as I could just print e-mails from Outlook.
Many thanks.

Has your router got a USB port for printing ?4.8kWp 12x400W Longhi 9.6 kWh battery Giv-hy 5.0 Inverter, WSW facing Essex . Aint no sunshine ☀️ Octopus gas fixed dec 24 @ 5.74 tracker again+ Octopus Intelligent Flux leccy0

Hi,
The router does have a USB port - it's a Sagecom router provided by Plusnet. Surely it wouldn't be as simple as linking the current USB cable I have into the router would it
Previously we had a BT Home Hub 2 which I had set up connected to the same Epson printer via the hub USB port, and allowed us to print wirelessly from laptops, although I suspect this may not have been possible with Apple Air Print.0 -

Hi again.
I can only find that it is a Plusnet Hub One - no Sagecom model number.
Incidentally, would I be correct in thinking the set up would be similar to the way the BT Home Hub 2 operated as a wireless print server?
Thanks.0 -
As far as I can tell it is a rebadged HH5 but there are conflicting stories out there on the web ... try hooking it up and add a new printer from your pc using IP address 192.168.1.253 or browse for a printer .... guessing thus far:p4.8kWp 12x400W Longhi 9.6 kWh battery Giv-hy 5.0 Inverter, WSW facing Essex . Many thanks for your time - I'll give it a try later and let you know how I get on.0

Don't think the Sagecom router supports printers - but just try it. We've just bought a £20 HP wireless instantink printer (highly recommended if you want minimum trouble from your printer!). Our USB-only Canon connected to router using this Belkin device...

Although a bit fidly to set up it worked very well, especially with W10. Ours may even be free for the cost of P&P.If you put your general location in your Profile, somebody here may be able to come and help you.0 -
You need a usb-ethernet print server , like a jetdirect box, or one of these :-

(Others are available)
Then you just plug it into a network port on your router and voi-la0
