It's a nuisance that Esbjerg is gone, via dfds. What shortest driving alternatives do you suggest for next month?
Want to keep an eye on petrol, avoid lengthy autobahn slogs and/or tolls cost, please.
Many thanks:)

Given the lack of ferries is driving the only option rather than flying ?0 -

It's a long time ago, about 30+ years, but we went from Harwich to Hook of Holland, drove through Holland and Germany to Aarhus. You can use the travel route finders online to pick the fastest routes and best roads.0

Where in the UK are you??
South or midlands - Harwich to Hook van Holland
North - Hull to Rotterdam
Far north or Scotland - Newcastle to Amsterdam
If you're going to Copenhagen first, suggest getting the Puttgarden - Rodby ferry, AIRI it was similar time wise to driving up to Jutland and going over the bridge to Zealand, and the bridge toll is similar to the ferry, but you get an hour's break and less driving/petrol. The ferrys are flexible you can book for a particular day and get any ferry that day, they're very regular.0 -
Thankyou again:-)
Remember it was Zeebrugge way back then)
Harwich will be best dep. port, also same.CAP[UK]for FREE EXPERT DEBT &BUDGET HELP:
