Feature Wall Dilemma

Hi all, We're currently decorating our bedroom and planning to wallpaper a feature wall behind the bed.
However, our house is very old and the bedroom is not a straight square/rectangle shape. Therefore, we're not sure which options might be best for wallpapering...

Wallpaper the immediate wall behind the bed?
Wallpaper from the wall that has the tester paint on to the left of the first picture up to and including the immediate wall behind the bed?
Wallpaper all the way across? (although that causes an issue because of the shape of the wall above where the windows are)
Wallpaper the immediate wall behind the bed and the two small walls that join off it to the left and right?
The pictures might give you a better idea of the issue we're facing. Any advice, options etc would be great - thanks.

Your room looks lovely, if it were me I wouldn't have a feature wall. There doesn't seem a natural end point on the wall behind the bed and I'm not sure how it would look with the picture rail either.
I'm probably more of a less is more person

I would go with number 1, if at all.0 -
I would wallpaper all walls under picture rails but not in a heavy print but enough to lift what is now quite bland.0

Wallpaper the whole room. Interior fashions have moved forward and feature walls arrived in the 90s with Changing Rooms.
That said, My bedroom is just like yours with the chimney breast off to one side and I painted the whole back section when we moved in 6 years ago. It wasn't particularly noticeable as being odd. It's now all the same colour.
Make sure you go above the picture rail too. It will stunt the height of the room if you stay below and it's not exactly a massive room.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

It is a small room and IMHO a feature wall will make it seem even smaller. Perhaps a picture would be a better option?"A nation's greatness is measured by how it treats its weakest members." ~ Mahatma Gandhi

I'd avoid a feature wall, and use the curtains and bed linen to add interesting accents.0

A few months ago, I was looking to buy a new flat . In some of the flats I saw , there were various feature walls . Some were wallpaper, and some were paint . Imho, the wallpaper was , shall we say 'tacky' . you could see that the sellers put the feature wall as an effect and not a genuine wall that was like that all the time
The painted ones were little better . I'm not picssso, but I would say just keep every wall painted . If you wallpaper a place, it can be very messy if you change your mind over the years .
Horses for courses and all that
