Dear all,
Can someone recommend books/webpages/papers etc that I could start reading to get a better understanding of saving and investing? I'm a beginner so really want to gain a bit of knowledge so I can make more informed decisions. Thank you

If you don't have much understanding about saving I'd put investing on hold for now. Perhaps start with the the How to Start Saving link at the top of the page?0

For investing have a look at Monevator http://monevator.com/category/investing/passive-investing-investing/
and DIY Investor http://diyinvestoruk.blogspot.co.uk/p/basics.html
A good basic book is Tim Hale 'Smarter Investing' - a bit expensive but may be available from local library.0 -
