I have had a 'Microsoft USB Trackball Explorer' for years, ever since they came out. Love it.
Can you say what mouse I should look at that works along the same lines as the Trackball.
Thanks

I always throw google shopping into the mix when checking my options. I don't of necessity buy from amongst the results..

A mouse is not a trackball so you wont find one that works along those lines ..
Just google trackball and pick one that suits your needs !!

Or goto PC World/Currys and see if Kensington's version is any good...

The best trackball I've come across is the Logitech Marble Mouse. Despite the contradictory name, it's a trackball rather than a mouse. It's been sold under two different names. I think it used to be called something like the Logitech Trackman Marble. Have a quick search. I wouldn't use anything else now - my RSI has virtually disappeared since I got one.0

I have been using this trackball for several years now.

I was on my phone before, so couldn't easily search, but here's a link to the Logitech Marble Mouse (aka Trackman Marble):
https://www.logitech.com/en-gb/product/4786
It's £40 on Amazon.
One of the great things about it is that (unlike a mouse) it's easy to use with your non-dominant hand, and its shape means you can vary your hand position somewhat, all very good if you're trying to relieve RSI.0 -
what is wrong with the one you have.
my mouse(from the easycall set no longer available) was having problems tracking and jumping and the wheel/buttons were not smooth, a complete dismantle and clean sorted it.
detritus and hair were interfering with the smooth operation and the tracking sensors.0 -
I've always taken the trackball out & cleaned it. I think that the area the ball sits in is wearing down and isn't quite as responsive as it used to be.0
