When I hit remove web data on the iPad some of it refuses to go. It may not be too much of an issue but it does annoy. Specifically ever since we had the virgin media wifi app there is permanently virgin media data even though we deleted the app ages ago. I looked at the Scottish fa website recently. Now we have data from that that refuses to budge.
Is there anything I can do?

You'll have to be a bit more specific in your question ..
Iv never seen a button that says "remove web data" ..
What are you clicking, and in what application ? Is it your history you are trying to delete ?0 -

I'm assuming this is within settings/safari/advanced/websitedata and you're hitting the "remove all website data?
try this
settings/safari and hit "clear history and website data"
Then go into advanced/website data and hit edit and manually remove any website data that still remains and let us know what happens. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

I hit Settings, safari, clear history and web data and/or I click advanced and remove each item manually but they don't go.0 -

If you can check to see if you're on 10.3.3 version of iOS
If not then you will have to make decision if you want to update and then try the steps again. Other than that you will have to take a visit to an Apple Store if the issue becomes serious for you. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. We do have the latest ios. It's not causing any issue as far as I am aware. It's just annoying that the cookies or whatever they are are able to resist removal. iPads are very limited. If we had known this beforehand my dad would have not bothered and just went straight for the android tablet he got later which is miles better.0 -

Companies well try their best to make a product that they feel is right for the customer but like anything in life we can't all like the same thing. If you feel android is the way to go then more power to you and at least you know going forward apple products are not for your dad and yourself. This is a system account and does not represent a real person.
