E: 24/08 Win golf and Sunday lunch at Brocton Hall Golf Club
http://www.staffordshirelife.co.uk/win-golf-and-sunday-lunch-at-brocton-hall-golf-club/story-30448162-detail/story.html
We've teamed up with Brocton Hall Golf Club to give away a round of golf for four players and a three-course Sunday lunch for four...
Brocton Hall Golf Club was first established at the Barley Mow public house in Milford in 1894. The original course was built on Cannock Chase, just above Milford Common. The club flourished, and the members realised they needed a professionally designed course in a more suitable location.
In 1922 members purchased Brocton Hall, a 19th century Grade II listed Georgian mansion, together with its land. Harry Vardon was employed to design the course, and on July 12, 1923, the opening ceremony was performed by the fourth Earl of Lichfield. Over the years it developed into the course it is today, and is regarded as one of the premier courses in the Midlands.
For your chance to win a four ball golf game and a three-course Sunday lunch for four, simply fill in the form below before the closing date of midnight on August 24, 2017. Trinity Mirror terms and conditions apply.
Please note that the round of golf and Sunday lunch can be taken with different guests on different days. However the golfers playing all need to have current handicap certificates. For more information, visit www.broctonhall.com, or contact 01785 661901.
What year did the golf course open at its current location?
