artificial grass question

Hi,


I am looking to lay artificial grass in my garden which is below pavement level (back on my fence leads onto higher payment).


Attached is some photos, you can see it is currently slabbed and the slabs are slightly raised on concrete. This means when we have heavy rain puddles form under the slabs (see photo's)...










What can I do to ensure this doesn't happen when laying artificial grass?

I would contact one of the companies which sell and install artificial grass such as Lazy Lawn. They will be able to advise.

You need a new sub base, that is level and drains.

Would i need to dig up the mud/ground that is there currently, or build it up as it will be lower bearing in mind there's a gap under slabs?

Lift the slabs and put down a draining layer of scalpes. .pound down, layer of sand weed membrane then the grass
