we had a car finance in 2004....we do not have details apart form a parcel reference and dates on and old credit file we have.
Rang Bank of Scotland who said they did not do car finance in 2004 but says bank of scotland on file....anyone come across this ?

I think it is unlikely that Bank of Scotland did car finance through their branch network. Their loan product would be expected to be generic for purpose. e.g. personal loan.
It is more likely that a car dealer would arrange car finance and BoS could be the lender used in that case.
