He should be asking the universities he is studying at, they will surely have other students from abroad.0

Hi, I'm Italian, and I have read your post about your son that is studying abroad and that you are searching a free account without fees.
If you are interested an Italian bank arrived in UK and there is also a promo for opening it.
As described in the home page of the bank FinecoBank provides:
-multicurrency account for banking and trading
-GBP and EUR Debit Cards
-No monthly account management fees (this is what you are searching for)
-No currency conversion fees when paying and withdrawing in Euro using your EUR Card (for the first card)
In the "Referrers" section of this forum I posted the promo code to get the bonus cash if you open the on line account. IT IS VALID ONLY FOR TODAY BECAUSE 10th August is the expiring date.!
I'm Italian and I have the code because it's about a Italian Fineco member that present a UK member to the bank. So only Italian member can share this promo code. And so I have shared it in a post in the right section ("Referrers") of this UK forum.

Does he actually need an account in Europe? Will he have money (in Euros) going into the account while he is abroad? If not then perhaps he could just stick with a UK bank that doesn't charge for card use in Europe (I have a Metro bank account for just this reason).0

also FinecoBank is now an UK bank and Italian Bank as well
You've made your point, any further mention of said bank is likely to get you reported for spamming.0
