Cost to remove kitchen floor tiles?

I just did my kitchen by my self took about 5 days in between working full time, its easy as in the skill level is low but its hard work. I had a hammer drill with a chisel attachment and a large hammer I'm not sire who tiled the floor previously but they could have built tanks out of the stuff it is very labour intensive to remove. You then have a problem of the thin set under the tile which I had to then use a diamond grinding cup on my hand grinder to level it all flat. It i s hard but worth it in the end I couldn't lay over my existing tiles as the height to the toliet downstairs would have been very off same for the doors.0

Another thought re tiling over current tiles. If you intend staying in your house you may want to tile again in the future, that's 2 layers to remove instead of 1.0

I was just thinking about this again and I might just get someone in to do the hard graft.
So, just v approximately, what sort of cost per sq/m or day would I be looking at to hire someone to come in and untile the kitchen floor and smooth it out so I can then lay some laminate? Kitchen floor is 20 sq/m.
Thanks!0
