so everyone who took part in the ebay challenge, how much did you make after fees ?
Hiding head in shame:o. I intended to take part and I listed a few cheap and boring things, most of which didn't sell (surprise surprise:rotfl:) but I don't think I ever committed to the challenge as such.
If it's OK with you, Aesop, I'll gloss over it and hopefully move on and really make an effort to list things in September. I see I've got an invite for free listings for the whole of September but it's the free/really cheap final value fees offer I'm waiting for;)
Congratulations to everyone who did the eBay challenge however much/little you made:beer:0 -
shariann, you're an absolute star to work out everyone's totals and get the list done so quickly:A:T:beer:. Thank you. It's really interesting to see the results of all our effort in a list like that.
Lynne, so sorry you've been feeling under par. I hope things will improve for you now your meds have had the time to kick in:kisses3:. Aesop mentioned your holiday, when do you go? I know you probably told us but my mind is all over the place at the moment after spending the best part of the night trying to work out my claims for unfair credit card charges. I'm definitely not a night owl so it was a slog but I want to post the letters today. I've put it off for too long:o and I think I should be owed some money. Fingers crossed anyway;)
Going to see what Aesop has in store for us with the 2 September mini challenges. Thanks as ever, Aesop, for injecting extra interest into the thread and for keeping us on our toes:A:T0 -

Have just totted up my August. Another good month:j, skewed by interest paid from 2 regular saver accounts maturing, but now I head towards the months when the seasonal work has dried up so, unless I get off my bum and sell some higher value things on eBay, I won't be doing so well. I'm keeping a year to date average running to see how I'm doing looking at it that way too.
Anyway, my August (roughly) was :
£257 interest
£15 eBay
£190 extra seasonal work
£25 Nectar points
£5 Tesco vouchers
£75 surveys
So a total of £567, and a running total of £2,028 for the 153 days (April-August).
I know I don't post much, but this thread really helps me focus. Thank you to those who run it :T0 -

Well done, that's a very good tally. Your running total is really impressive too considering it was for a relatively short period of time:T:beer:.
Lets hope something good and unexpected turns up for you to compensate for the lack of seasonal earnings during the rest of the year.
We'll look forward to maybe seeing more of you on the thread:). I agree that it helps give a focus to our moneymaking efforts:j0
