    Even Douglas Macmillan hospice would not take a bed (son said he wouldn't like a second hand mattress, so disposed of those,therefore hygiene was not the reason),but they did accept some cupboards/sets of drawers.


    There are lots of the beds on Ebay, now, in the £20 to £50 range with no bids. The problem is that they have to be in the home region of the buyer, because they are usually collect only.

    And they don't fit in the back of a hatchback either as one of my buyers found out. :rotfl:

    My wife has a lot of health conditions including ms if we couldn't buy cheap nearly new disabled equipment we would be screwed �� Saying that its swings and roundabouts I had to take a hit when I sold some equipment
