Problems with Executor

Hello, I am the beneficiary of my late fathers estate along with my brother and sister, the sister is also the executor of the estate, its is just a couple of bank accounts and a house, total around £70000 after debts. The money is to be split three ways so we are looking at around £23000 each. The house was sold on the 1st July for £85000. My sister has not told me the house is sold, also she is refusing to show any accounts, she believes as she is executor it is her house and has changed the locks so myself and my brother can not get access. Myself my wife and daughters have all been threatened with violence by my sister and her family and there has been no answer to any request I send to see accounts or even to let me know the house has been sold. I sent a recorded letter asking her to update me on the situation but all I got was spat at when she drove past me in her car. I am very worried I wont get the money due to me as she is saying she can just keep it.

Have you checked if probate has been granted? If so it should give the value of the estatre.Hello, I am the beneficiary of my late fathers estate along with my brother and sister, the sister is also the executor of the estate, its is just a couple of bank accounts and a house, total around £70000 after debts. Because there is a house involved probate will have been granted, but the probate figure for the house value will be an estimate.
Frankly from what you have said I don't think your sister is going to be too keen to give you your share. When did your father die? You may have to wait until the end of the 'executor's year' before you get legal.0
