In March this year I had some work done, I got the final bill saying Balance left to pay £610, so I paid the amount in full and kept the receipt. Now they are saying they made a mistake and there is more to pay. Do I have to pay?

Was £610 your understanding of the amount owed, or were you expecting a larger bill?

In other words, did you know, or should you be expected to have known, that he had made a mistake?
