Defaults Removed - No Change in score?

I questioned 2 x defaults from the same company a couple of months ago. I was lucky and they agreed I was in the right and said they would remove them. They have been removed but my credit score hasn't changed! I would have expected it to go up a few marks considering it went down heaps when the defaults were added......
Any advise? Reason why?

Your score is a fictional number that doesn't reflect anything to do with your credit worthiness, hence not changing.
Ignore it completely.0 -
Ok but if that's the case then why am I being refused credit when the rest of my file is fine and im up to date with everything0

Because lenders don't like what they're seeing on your file or in your application.
Credit history, ER, time at address, income, debts, limits, financial associates etc etc. All those things impact how a lender sees you. But no magic number from the credit score fairy.
You'll need to give us a lot more info before we can help.0
