Caution on sending out valuable item - advice please

    With books there is the additional problem of describing the condition of the book. 'Good' for example has a very specific meaning.

    I would try local antiquarian book dealers or maybe specialist auctions.

    Agree, remove the Ebay listing if you're not comfortable.

    If the book is known in the antiquarian trade, I'd contact a reputable local dealer or try Maggs Bros.
