    It says
    Maximum operating pressure 3 bar

There is a dial thing near the bottom, with a plastic fixed needle on the outside and numbers on a roll on the inside, needle points to 6
    Is that the pressure??

I suspect the jacket??..........In the hot water tank and you have a open system. So it refills itself. They are often in the airing cupboard.

How about a picture to be sure.. The "needle" will point to the pressure. 2 bar is about right.
I normally run the system for a while before topping up.

You should top systems up when they are cold, the system pressure will be inflated when the water is hot so you will not get a true reading.

I stand corrected I meant that but said the opposite. Not sure what I was thinking. Thank you. I normally do mine first thing in the morning. Assuming it's not been on over night.
