all,
i need to change my garage ceiling which does not have any weight on top of it .
Would you run two peice of wood prarallel bolted to the wall which then all joists are hanged off or bolt each joist to the wall individually ?
what is the pros and cons in your view.
Pros for me is less driliing in wall and easier but not sure if it will be strong enough.
I may go on the roof occasionally to clean the windows above it (above the garage there is my second floor window.
