Loan company checked me twice same day.

I recently purchased a new tent on 10 months interest free. My credit rating was great so knew I would be ok. Problem is it has now taken a dive and looking at Noddle it appears that the company checked me twice one after the other. The second one says administration check. Is this what could have changed my score quite badly?

No. The single 'hard' search will have made an impact on your credit score, the other search will have had no impact. The thing that will have had the biggest impact on your score is that you gave recently opened a new credit account - that is why your score has dropped.
The good news is that your credit score doesn't matter anyway as only you will see it. Lenders will look at your credit history along with other factors, your score is pretty irrelevant. AND even if the score did matter (which it doesn't), then assuming there are no other negative factors it will soon increase again.0 -
I can't really see that taking out a single credit agreement for the purchase of a tent. therefore not a massive amount, would have had any really significant effect on an otherwise satisfactory credit history.
As others have said, the two searches - 1 soft 1 hard - are normal. The soft search will have had no effect.
Ignore whatever has happened to the score. Taken in isolation, this new credit agreement should not have any really significant impact on your ability to obtain credit.0
