Thank you all!
What a day! I'm back home, in my scruffy clothes that no one sees outside the house with a very large gin and tonic.
Interview 1 is the one I really want. I felt it went as well as it could, but there could be someone better qualified.......who knows. I had a test, which included spreadsheets, working out vat amounts and discounts, proof reading, research and mail merge. I got through it all, answered everything and am pretty sure the Mail merge and spreadsheet work was correct.
Interview 2 was for a bigger company, but the interview was far more relaxed and more of a chat. They were very friendly, but I don't think I was successful there at all. I just didn't feel it went well. The pay difference between the 2, and the added nursery fees, etc, means we would have more spare if I got the part time one (which is the 1 I want). Basically, if I got the full time one, I'd be working more hours, seeing my boys less and having less spare each month. But, a job is a job (and please, please, please let me have the first one!!).
I've also today sorted out everything we need for ds's birthday.
Whilst waiting for one of the interviews, I did see a job advert for another job that I will apply for. I should probably do that before finishing this g&t!
Oh, and I've come to the conclusion that if I was successful in either job, or any other, I would have to wear trousers to work. I've laddered 3 pairs of tights today :rotfl: Thankfully the first was after the first interview, the second as I was getting ready for the second so had time to change, and the third I saw a small ladder at my heel on the way to the second. It was tiny, and unless anyone was staring at the back of my heels they wouldn't have noticed. Oh, and I put my fingers through the third pair as I was taking them off. Tights are not money saving for Mrs S!! :rotfl:Starting a new debt free journeyStarting Debt: £5,250Current Debt: £4,995.50Amount Paid: £254.50 Percentage Paid: 4.84%Emergency Fund: £3500 -

Thursday for the 1 I really want, I'm not sure about the other. They started to tell me, but then got distracted and I didn't want to ask again!Starting a new debt free journeyStarting Debt: £5,250Current Debt: £4,995.50Amount Paid: £254.50 Percentage Paid: 4.84%Emergency Fund: £3500 -
Middle of the night, and I'm wide awake. I'm not sure why. Excitement for son's birthday or just still thinking about these interviews. I've been through ynab and the bank accounts and everything is balancing. I've been thinking about starting surveys again. I managed to get quite a bit of money before Christmas last year with them so would be definitely worth trying again.
