in Parking tickets, fines & parking
Some time ago I received a 'fine' for parking in a town centre car park issued by National Car parks. I had paid the fee but the fine was for not parking in the correct bay area. I did not pay even after getting several letters which I ignored. Now I am getting Solicitors letters from 'Gladstones Solicitors' threatening that their client 'may' proceed to court action. Do I have to Pay?

    you definitely have to pay if a judge says so, after a court case

    until then , no you dont have to pay , nor do you have to pay if you win the court case , NCP and Gladrags have 6 years to bring a court case

    No. It would have been a cinch to have appealed and won this at POPLA at the start though!

    NCP are not litigious and Gladstones muck up cases they try for other PPCs. If the letter is asking for payment to a debt collector then it is just that, another debt collector threatogram.
