Maman - I think you are missing some smileys
- maybe the lovely Shaggy could update for you - sorry if I am speaking out of turn
Thanks Sukey - sorted :TWhat do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.0 -
I used to post a lot on here and contributing helped me to cut down my drinking from an unacceptably high level to only drinking very infrequently. Well, over the past month or two I’ve gone back to having a bottle of wine over dinner and drinking during the evening until bedtime. My wife and I are now spending a lot of money on alcohol and drinking again is not doing me any favours. Mrs K is away with work until the weekend and I was determined to make tonight AF which has been successful.
Hoping to make a target of 21 for October. What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.0 -

Thanks all.
Another AF evening, despite having dinner with my parents this evening (they always have wine with dinner which is probably where I get it from :rotfl:). Father asked me tonight if I thought I ever had a drink problem. I told him I know I used to drink too frequently and heavily meaning at one point I realised it was a problem which I addressed. Though at the time I'm not sure I'd admit having a drink problem. During the early days on here I found it very difficult not to drink and was adamant I was only interested in saving money.2018 totals:
Savings £11,200
Mortgage Overpayments £5,5000
