Neighbour had created a new space up there and rented it out.
There was a thread on here some years ago from someone who thought she was going crazy because she thought things were being moved in her house when she was out. Someone set up a camera for her and caught the neighbour coming down from the loft and wandering round her house when he knew she was out.
