Ppi "already previously investigated this claim".

Friend used Findmyclaims(yes, yes i know , yada , yada should have done it himself etc etc)and they found PPI with mbna which he was never aware of and he declared this on a form they sent
However,Findmyclaims sent him this.So my friend has PPi - which he states was mis sold but cannot claim because "already previously investigated this claim".

Should my friend contact FSA ?

After having issued a Letter of complaint to your broker, they have sent us their Final Response rejecting the claim, stating that they have already previously investigated this claim. Because they have already investigated the claim, it cannot be investigated again, and so unfortunately I have now exhausted all avenues open to me, I cannot pursue the case any further.

You only get one bite at the cherry, so they are correct it cannot be investigated again.
He can say all day long that it was missold but after investigation it was found not to be.

The time to have gone to the FSA would have been after the first rejection.
make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.

MBNA CC? It would have been itemised on any monthly statement where ppi was charged.

You can't keep making the same complaint unless you have compelling new evidence.

I don't think the FSA can help.

The OP of this thread will be lucky not to get a bill from "FindMyClaims" for effectively wasting their time.

The OP also needs to understand that he or she cannot simply continue making the same complaint.Once it's been rejected, only providing new and compelling evidence is likely to cause the Bank to re-open the complaint.

If the original complaint was more than six months ago then it's now also too late to refer it to the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS)

I think the OP is also confused about the function of the FSA which does not involve itself in individual customer complaints...

And the Food Standards Agency doesn't really know much about PPI. :)
