‘Me On A Plate’ Instagram competition T&C’s
The Promoter of the competition is Ancestry Information Operations Unlimited Company, 70 Sir John Rogerson Quay, Dublin 2.
The competition is open to UK residents aged 18 or over [with a valid Instagram account], except employees of the Promoter or its group companies, their immediate families and their agents.
Competition begins [Wednesday 19th July 2017 at 11:00 GMT]. Closing date is [Saturday 30th September 2017 at 11:59 GMT]

To enter, entrants must follow @AncestryUK on Instagram (http://www.instagram.com/ancestryuk) during the promotion period and post a photo from their own account of an ‘ethnicity-inspired’ meal or food dish based on either their AncestryDNA results or their known heritage using #DNADining and #AncestryDNA
No responsibility can be accepted for entries incomplete, delayed or not received.
10 prize winners will be chosen by an independent person after the closing date. Entries will be judged on the following criteria: clear relationship to competition mechanic, creativity and originality.
Each prize winner will receive a restaurant experience in the form of an experience day voucher, valid for 12 months, at locations across the UK. Travel and accommodation is not included.
There is no cash alternative for prize and it is non transferable.
The winners will be notified via a comment from @Ancestryuk on their entry image on Instagram and via a private message on Instagram. Winners must respond to the private message and provide a valid email and postal address for the prize to be delivered to. A representative from Ancestry will contact each winner to arrange the fulfilment of their prize.
If a winner does not respond to the private message with the required contact details within one week of receipt of the message, the Promoter reserves the right to re-award the prize with no further obligation or liability to the initial winners.
The Promoter reserves the right to use any image submitted as an entry to the competition for future promotional use on, but not limited to, all social channels, websites, marketing channels and promotional content associated with Ancestry UK. By submitting images and taking part in the competition, Entrants hereby grant Ancestry a perpetual worldwide right to use the images as described in these terms and conditions. Entrants further accept and agree that they may not be contacted in advance for additional permission to use their images.
The Promoter’s decision is final and binding. The Promoter reserves the right to modify, cancel or withdraw the competition without notice. This competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Instagram. Entrants acknowledge that they are providing their information to the Promoter and not to Instagram and to the extent permitted by law, releases Instagram from any and all liability in relation to this competition. Any questions, comments or complaints about this promotion must be directed to the Promoter and not to Instagram.
